Raised by southern parents in the heart of Chicago near the friendly confines of Wrigley Field, Rhonda Watson is perfectly at ease in big cities as well as small town communities. However, since making Lake Martin her full-time home in 2004, she doesn’t feel a need to venture far from it.

In her previous lives BLM (Before Lake Martin), she held various stressful corporate management positions, primarily in accounting and human resources within the radio industry. Had she taken some good notes, she could have retired and lived off the proceeds of a wildly entertaining bestseller about the radio biz. Instead, she’s now working to help other stressed-out folks find their own lake haven along the shores of an "Alabama Treasured Lake." Believe it or not, selling real estate was a natural transition from working as a human resource professional. Rhonda loves helping people and has never met a form she couldn’t fill out!

Rhonda’s world is not limited to Lake Martin and the real estate business. She loves being “Auntie Rhonda” to a cool assortment of nieces and nephews, and “Roo” to her Chicago posse, serving as an occasional foster parent to wayward animals, and threatening to take up piano lessons.
