Fall Family Festival a Fan Favorite!

Bring the whole family out to this one-of-a-kind event! Not only will you find a working blacksmith and a grist mill, but you’ll be treated to a Pumpkin Patch overflowing with big orange pumpkins perfect for decorating at home. LJ Concessions will bring the food, including funnel cakes, plus we’ll have more games with cool prizes, wagon rides, and pony rides. You might be able to feed a real live camel in the petting zoo, too. There will be a Naturalist presentation with creepy critters, and the Windermere Fire Department will have a couple of fire trucks on hand—all that and lots more.

You could also win cash prizes in our Blue Ribbon Canning and Baking Contests! You know what that means—dig out your favorite recipes for granny’s pickled eggs or your favorite blackberry or strawberry jam, and we always look forward to the apple pies, pound cakes, carrot cakes, turtle cheesecakes and other delights. Surprise us with your hidden talents! We just might have a celebrity judge or two!

There is a fee of $25 per family (based on a family of four), individuals are just $10, and if you need an additional pumpkin, they are just $5 each. It just gets better every year! We’re looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 29. And please, don’t forget to bring the kids.
