After a wet week—and a wet winter—across the Southeast, course conditions and the weather forecast are looking great for race day! Depending on which weather app you trust, it’s looking like 62 degrees and cloudy at race time. We’re grateful for this little taste of springtime for our tenth annual Russell Forest Run.

The sand/gravel/clay composition of the trails makes them drain very well, and running surfaces are very firm. And, at this writing, the skies are blue and the sun is out. So, don’t let our recent weather keep you from enjoying one of the most unique races in the Southeast. Everything is “all systems GO” on the Russell Forest Trails.

There’s still time to register. Just visit www.RussellForestRun.com to register online. Online registration is open until race time, but the registration fee for each race will increase from $40 to $50 after 11:59pm Friday, February 22.

You’ll also enjoy one of the best post-race parties in the running world. If you’ve never participated in the Russell Forest Run, see what other runners have said about the event. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
