What is a better Valentine’s gift than diamonds? A brand-new lake home at The Ridge on Lake Martin! We are so excited about these TWO brand-new lake homes by Legacy New Homes that we decided to show them off this Valentine’s weekend.

Our celebration will be Saturday, February 15, from 3-6pm and will take advantage of the best sunset view on Lake Martin. SpringHouse is providing scrumptious fare from Chefs Chris Morina and Rob McDaniel.

These brand-new lake homes have been finished just in time for the spring and summer lake season. Both have something uniquely different to offer. One house, The Double Rock, is situated on a peaceful, quiet, deep-water cove. The other home, The Cascadia, is placed on a gorgeous property with the largest open-water view on Lake Martin.

The Double Rock  is aptly named since nearly everything on the main floor is repeated on the terrace level. There are two bedroom suites on the main floor and two on the terrace level. There is an open kitchen, family room and dining arrangement on the main level, and there is an open kitchenette, rec-room and dining on the terrace level.

There are a few subtle differences on each floor, however. On the main level, you will find the master suite, gourmet kitchen and vaulted living room with fireplace. On the terrace level, you will find a huge rec-room that is ideal for billiards AND family overflow as well as a second laundry and over-sized lake prep room.

In order to show this house to its fullest potential, Legacy New Homes employed interior designer Nan Jackson to make décor selections, while Johnson Furniture of Eclectic is providing an exciting collection of new lake furniture.

The Cascadia

As the name Cascadia suggests, this beautiful three-story home cascades down to the edge of Kowaliga Bay with miles and miles of big-water views. This home offers eight bedrooms (for all your new lake friends!), and virtually every room enjoys fabulous lake views.

The main level boasts a vaulted family room, custom gourmet kitchen, guest suite and owner’s suite with private screened porch. The terrace level offers two bedroom suites, bunk stack, rec room and lake prep room. The third level offers three additional bedrooms while the garage includes a full bedroom/game room suite with stunning lake views.

You will love the two-story covered outdoor living and lakeside fire pit and terrace.
