Annual Charity Poker Run This Saturday!

Lions Lake Martin Charity Poker Run

The Ridge Marina on Lake Martin

We’re limited to 204 hands this year. Pre-registration is the only way to ensure your slot—and your chance to win!

In its 16th year, this highly anticipated event raises thousands of dollars for local charities and is one heck of a fun day. Participants traverse the lake drawing a card at each stop trying to build the winning hand. Start at The Ridge Marina for registration, then on to River North Marina, Harbor Pointe, Real Island, and Kowaliga Marina before culminating with live music from Jonathan Bloom and Brian Hinton, and food and fun at Kowaliga Restaurant.

Entry Fee is $160.00 per hand which includes an official T-shirt, a Lake Martin Summer T-shirt, one key to the treasure chest and two meal tickets for the Kowaliga Restaurant celebration. Plus, this year, every entrant will receive a 16th annual Poker Run flag to fly on their boat! Please make check payable to Alexander City Lions Club and return with registration to any Russell Marine location. Only one entry per person.

Our treasure chest is loaded with more than $1,000 in prizes, including two pairs of Costa sunglasses and a whole lot more. Your key just might unlock the pirate’s booty!

Prizes

Highest Hand – 1st $1,700, 2nd $700, and 3rd $600
Worst Hand – 1st $800, 2nd $400, and 3rd $300
Best Crew – 1st $500, 2nd $400, and 3rd $300
Treasure Chest – $2,000 in prizes plus door prizes

Reward for best dressed crew will be at the discretion of event management. Crews will be judged on originality, creativity, appearance and fun!
