Derryl Thomas, an educated engineer, switched careers in the 1980s to home building and, since that time, he has been one of the most prolific builders on Lake Martin. Over that time, he has learned a great deal about how to place, build and enjoy lake homes. He has literally hundreds of satisfied people still enjoying the homes he built.

Derryl gets pretty involved with every project. Some builders manage multiple projects. Derryl tends to focus on just a few at a time, because he is doing the work too! Each of the lake homes he's built is a great example of his hands-on technique.
