Guided Nature Tour

First Day of Fall!
Saturday, September 23 – 7am
Meet at Willow Point Cutoff Trailhead

It’s the first day of fall! Wake up and hit the trail! Start the morning with Naturalist Marianne in Russell Forest as we wander the woods identifying the variety of plant and animal life we discover. In addition to learning from the finds in the forest, we will discuss how seasonal changes affect the species we see. This energetic hike will offer both learning and exercise. Insect repellent will be provided—bring your own drinking water and comfortable shoes. Appropriate for participants ages 5–105.

There is a $10 fee for this program. Please contact Naturalist Marianne at 256.496.2710 or [email protected] to inquire and to register.
