Russell Marine to Host Free Boating Courses this Spring

Once again, Russell Marine is teaming up with the Alabama Marine Police and Lake Martin Resource Association to bolster boater education and boating safety on Lake Martin.

Saturday, April 15 – 9am-1pm
Kowaliga Marina

Hosted by Russell Marine and geared specifically for women, this four-hour, hands-on course refreshes the basics of boating safety and operation with on-water demonstrations and instruction by the seasoned experts of Lake Martin Resource Association.

In years past, only one course was offered at River North Marina and would fill up quickly. This year, the course at River North Marina on March 25 is already full, so we encourage those interested to register for the course offered at Kowaliga Marina on April 15. But act quickly as limited slots are available.

Need your Alabama boating license or just want to review the latest rules and regulations?

Alabama Marine Police will conduct a Boating Safety course at The Ridge Marina, April 1 and 8 from 8am to 3pm, to help all boaters, first timers, and veterans alike. Hosted by Russell Marine, this course is NASBLA and Alabama Boating Safety certified.
