The Birmingham Business Journal’s Bryan Davis recently sat down with Russell Lands On Lake Martin CEO Thomas Lamberth to talk about the incredible growth the beloved resort community and its associated companies have experienced over the past 25 years.

In the article, Lamberth, an Alexander City native, talks about how he began his career with the Russell family 32 years ago as their company CPA. Today, Russell Lands On Lake Martin is more than a resort community – it’s a corporation that provides jobs to more than 600 people during the high season.

Lamberth says the biggest lesson learned from customers over the years is to make their experience as hassle-free as possible. Ensuring an enjoyable, effortless experience creates enduring value. “They (customers) in return are going to be some of your best ambassadors.”
