Russell Lands Launches New Lakeside Neighborhood

Russell Lands On Lake Martin released the newest addition to the Willow Point community in July. This new addition will be called “The Willows of Willow Point.” This new neighborhood shares the Pitchford Hollow Cove with its sister neighborhood, Willow Glynn at Willow Point.

The new neighborhood, which consists of 27 lots in the first phase of development, has much in common with Willow Glynn, such as covenants, HOA administration and architectural design guidelines. The new name is consistent with Russell Lands On Lake Martin’s tradition of giving each neighborhood with a dedicated entry its own neighborhood identification.

The Willows of Willow Point name is perfect since it provides additional waterfront properties consistent with the Willow Point community. The grand entry for The Willows will be via a gatehouse (which will commence construction in late fall of 2018). The gatehouse will be remotely monitored by the Willow Point guardhouse.

Waterfront property design for The Willows followed the successful pattern that made Willow Point so highly sought after. With lots averaging over 200 feet of waterfront and with many lots over an acre in size, prospective property owners will be able to design and build custom lake homes consistent with those throughout the Willow Point community.

Demand for this addition to Willow Point proved to be strong given the sale of seven lots for custom homes on the first day of release, as well as the announcement of two new speculative construction projects to provide upscale lake homes for the summer of 2019.

Final touches on the new neighborhood continue with the completion of road construction expected in mid-August, and the grand entry with gatehouse expected to be completed in early 2019. The property is easy to find with the main entry located on Willow Point Road, just moments off of U.S. Hwy 280 via Alabama Hwy 63 South.
