Russell Lands Announces Addition to Approved Builders

One of East Alabama’s leading custom homebuilders, Dilworth Residential, has been added to Russell Lands’ approved builder list for The Heritage as well as other Russell Lands neighborhoods. The company is led by Michael Dilworth, who has been a custom builder for more than 20 years.

Dilworth Residential is based in Auburn, Alabama, where they have been leaders in the custom-home market since the mid-2000s. Their leadership in that rapidly growing market is due to their ability to work effectively with everyone involved in the home-building process. As the term custom implies, their projects are built specifically for the property owner’s taste. In many cases, this requires being involved in the design of the home and/or consultation with the owner’s architect.

We were impressed with Dilworth’s ability to move from design to implementation and coordination with the various trades that custom homes require. Since The Heritage is the lake’s premier lake home community, having another quality custom builder option made a lot of sense. While Dilworth Residential is new to The Heritage, they are not new to Lake Martin. They have been active on Lake Martin in Longleaf, The Camp, and Kennebec. Those efforts proved their ability to build lake homes.

Dilworth has gotten off to a great start at The Heritage, signing their first custom-home construction contract. This new home, which has been approved by The Heritage Architectural Review Committee, is due to break ground in early July. We expect they will earn more projects in future phases as well.
