Phase 4 of The Heritage Approved

Road work commences this week

The Planning Commission for the City of Alexander City approved Russell Lands’ road plans for the much anticipated Phase 4 of The Heritage last week. Road crews began the careful tree clearing for the new roadway this week. (It has long been the policy to only remove trees that are necessary to build roads. Clear cutting is not allowed.)

Phase 4 is located on the same mass of land as the back nine of the Wicker Point Golf Club course and will be adjacent to The Benjamin Lake Club. This large peninsula will provide large, estate-size waterfront homesites that are ideal for custom, one-of-a-kind lake homes.

Sales in The Heritage have been impressive to date, with 108 of the 111 released waterfront lots having been sold a full two years ahead of schedule. We anticipate that road construction will take 6-8 months to complete, and the property will be available to interested buyers in mid-summer 2025.
