Only Two More Weeks Until Derby Day

When you think of the Kentucky Derby, what comes to mind? The ladies and those awesome hats? Mint Juleps? Seersucker? Dan Fogelberg? How about all of the above? Those are among what you can enjoy at Derby Day at The Stables, our first big event of spring!

It’s so much fun to see all of the ladies in their colorful hats and the way the guys can be so dapper in their seersucker or other creative outfits. This year, plans are to hold Derby Day back inside The Stables! Of course, we’ll have music from The Southern Gentlemen, a few finger foods and drink, and we’ll raise some money for Children’s Harbor (a 50/50 drawing from the winner’s bucket), so bring some real money!

Post time is scheduled for around 6pm, but Derby history always has the start running a tad late. On time or late, we’ll gather around the big screens and cheer on our favorite horses! There are some great prizes for the way you’re dressed and the luck of the draw! Come join your friends for Derby Day at The Stables!
