Keep Lake Martin Beautiful!

Published: 10.23.2014

Those of us fortunate enough to live or work on or near Lake Martin know how pristinely beautiful it is. We also know it’s up to all of us to ensure its beauty endures for generations to come.

Join us as we Celebrate Lake Martin with a two-day cleanup on Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8. A 15-year tradition, led by Alabama Power’s Renewing Our Rivers program, Lake Martin Resource Association, Advanced Disposal, the Boy Scouts and Russell Lands On Lake Martin, this joint collaboration is a labor of lake love for everyone involved!

Even students at Stephens Elementary School get in on the act! Dozens of young students created artwork for the campaign, and one was selected as the official t-shirt design.

All cleanup volunteers receive a FREE t-shirt and are invited to register for prizes when they drop off trash and recyclables.

Check out the cleanup schedule below, and please join to keep Lake Martin beautiful!
