It is Nearly Time!

July 18, 2022 is the contract deadline for Heritage Phase 1

Right on schedule! At Russell Lands, we have been working diligently to create a new and beautiful lakefront community, The Heritage, on 1,500 forested acres. The centerpiece of The Heritage is Wicker Point Golf Club*, designed by Coore & Crenshaw, which has been under construction for well over a year. The course is on schedule to open late summer of 2023.

Adjacent to the golf course is the Wicker Point peninsula, one of the most beautiful pieces of land on Lake Martin. The land on Wicker Point is the perfect place for a world-class residential development. The gentle topography, big water views, and protected coves provide a lovely variety of homesites for customed-designed and built lake homes.

We believe that this property will stand the test of time, providing the perfect setting for generations of lake and golf enthusiasts. That is why it is called The Heritage.

Part of our schedule was to release the first phase of residential lots so homes would be nearing completion on or about the same time the course opens for play. We released sales maps and the price list for The Heritage on June 16. Our hope was that those who were interested could take several weeks to review the property and make their selection.

The date for lot selection and submission of purchase offers is July 18, 2022. We do anticipate that there may be more than one offer on a given lot or lots. In order to be fair to all parties, we will review all offers that we receive prior to 1:00 PM on the 18th simultaneously.
