Phase 3 release had impressive response

There is no better way to say that The Heritage is a very popular lakefront community than to let our customers do the talking. Last week, we reviewed offers on the 30 waterfront lots in Phase 3. Twenty of the properties sold in the first 24 hours. Their actions speak for themselves, The Heritage is clearly Lake Martin’s most sought-after community.

This follows a 20-month period where 52 properties were sold in Phase 1 and 28 properties were sold in Phase 2. Of the 113 properties developed to date, 100 have been sold. Of those that have been sold, roughly 30 custom homes are already under construction or occupied. Many more are scheduled to break ground over the summer months.

This popularity is due to the high quality of the amenities available in The Heritage. Nothing says that any better than the private Wicker Point Golf Club with its Coore & Crenshaw-designed course, which has opened to rave reviews. Wicker Point is just one of two clubs in The Heritage. The other is the owners’ lake club, The Benjamin, which is under construction and scheduled to open June of 2025.

The Benjamin is a multi-purpose facility that comes with property ownership. Features include gathering and meeting space, an owners’ bar, fitness center, pool complex with two saline pools, snack bar, beach, community docks, tennis and pickleball complex, pro shop, and event lawns.
