Guided Nature Tour – NIGHT HIKE!

The super-popular NIGHT HIKE is BACK!!!!!!

The light of day will dim as we walk into the Russell Forest. As darkness falls, let’s listen as the evening sounds slowly turn into nighttime noises. The forest settles into a completely different rhythm at night. BE THERE TO FEEL IT! We will be in the woods identifying the variety of nighttime animal life we discover. This energetic hike will offer both learning and exercise. Insect repellent will be provided – bring your own flashlight, drinking water, and comfortable shoes. Appropriate for participants ages 5+. Come prepared to walk for at least 2 hours. Pace will be relaxed with frequent stops to discuss our finds! Dress appropriately, it’s still pretty warm at night this time of year in the Russell Forest! Grab a bottle of water, it might be a good idea to bring insect repellant, and of course, cameras are always welcome! Remember, there are no restrooms in the Russell Forest!
