Naturalist Presentation – Russell Crossroads

October 30, 2021 | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

CREEPY CRITTERS

All of nature is equally amazing and valuable, but the truth is: some critters give us the creeps. Make sure to visit the Naturalist Cabin before, during, or even after the Fall Family Festival to see some specimens that are apt to cause a chill. Some will have eight legs and some will have none, but all will be on display for learning and discovery. Included will be a large OWL whooooose features make it perfect material for Halloween decorations. No need to be squeamish or fearful! We will discuss the positive attributes of our wild neighbors who lurk in the shadows. Live animals – bring your camera. No charge – everyone is welcome!

If you have questions for Marianne, she can be contacted at 256.496.2710 or [email protected].

Also, make plans to join Marianne during Turpentine Tales on the Town Green at Russell Crossroads on October 28, 29, & 30. She’ll have critters and stories to tell before you enter the Turpentine Trail! See you soon, at Russell Crossroads.
