The entire day is filled with boating, fun, family, and friends while raising money for local Lake Martin charities. The route may vary yearly, but the start is typically at Kowaliga Marina and ends at The Ridge Marina for food and awards.

The entry fee usually includes an official Poker Run T-Shirt, a Lake Martin Summer T-Shirt, a Russell Marine bag, koozies, a pirate flag, and lots of fun on Lake Martin.
