The Alexander City Chamber of Commerce’s Sun Festival kicks off at Russell Crossroads on June 4th! Come hang out with your pals Friday evening from 6:30-8:30 on the Town Green at Russell Crossroads. On the Green Stage to kick off this week-long event is Cameron DuBois.

Even with all the challenges that 2020 threw at her, Cameron had a great year! In May she released the uplifting, and praiseful “Peace,” something she describes as “country goes to church.” In September, she revealed her country, rock and soul musical roots, with “Bridges,” another upbeat country-rock tune which she is very proud of. “The backbone of the story in ‘Bridges’ is that we all sometimes burn bridges in life,” Cameron said. “However, if we pay attention to those mistakes and learn from them, it can light our path to the future.”
