When is the last time you, or your kids, saw a working blacksmith or watched corn being ground into corn meal? It doesn’t happen very often in one spot—but, it gets even better! Not only will you find a working blacksmith and a grist mill, but at the Fall Family Festival you’ll be treated to, Fall Festival Bingo, horseback rides, tons of games on the lawn, face and pumpkin painting, corn dogs, funnel cakes, nachos, boiled peanuts, lemonade, and of course the Pie and Cake Baking Contest! This year 1st place will pick up dinner for two at SpringHouse and $100, 2nd place is $50.00 and a meal for two at Kowaliga, and 3rd place is a $25.00 gift certificate from Catherine’s Market and $25.00. It all happens Saturday, October 27th from 10am to 1pm at Russell Crossroads! There is no charge to attend the event! Pumpkins will be $5 each and food items just two bucks each!
