Two long-standing summertime traditions return to Lake Martin on July 4. Enjoy the color and the spectacle and make the most of our Independence Day at the lake!
Fourth of July Boat Parade

Kowaliga
It’s a long-time Lake Martin tradition, and it seems to grow every year. Scores of boats will again parade from Kowaliga to Children’s Harbor in a festive and patriotic holiday display. Local veterans will occupy the lead boat in the parade.
Prizes will be awarded for Tallest Flag, Largest Flag, Most Creative Theme and Most Patriotic Crew. Two prizes will be awarded in each category. First prize is a $150 Russell Marine gift certificate, and second prize is a $75 gift certificate. And new this year, Best Overall Boat and Crew will receive $500 in cash!

The AMP on Lake Martin
It’s almost time for you to join us on the grassy lawn at the AMP for the largest fireworks show in the Southeast! The 17th Annual Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks Blast is just a few days away, and this year’s event is going to bigger and better than ever!
We are so excited that the girls from the Sweet Tea Trio will be back this year, and local favorite band, The Bank Walkers will entertain as well!
This year, tickets are only $10.00, and they can be found at The Company Store at Russell Crossroads, Nail’s Convenience Store, the Russell Lands Corporate Office at Willow Point, The Amp Website and on The AMP’s Facebook page.
Gates to The AMP open at 5pm, music will start at 6:30pm, and the fireworks are at 9pm. Come early and claim your spot on the lawn! Remember, coolers are accepted, but we ask you to please leave your pets at home!
